Komel Customizing was created in October 2002, as a way to honor my Arabian mare, who was put to sleep on October 22, 2002 due to an inoperable tumor on her kidney. My specialty is painting portrait models, to honor the horses we have grown to love over the years. I strive for realism down to the finest details and always work off reference pictures of real horses to achieve this level of realism. Each model comes out as an individual, no two are ever exactly alike.
On a limited basis I do accept orders for custom models. Prices start at $50 for traditional (large) scale models, and increase depending on the amount of work requested. I can provide a "body" model at extra cost. Shipping varies depending on destination and number of models ordered. Please e-mail me for more details.
